The right preparation of the Dinner Aluminium Candle Mould is crucial for achieving perfect candles every time. In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the essential steps to ensure that your moulds are clean, properly assembled, and ready for use. Let's dive into the process and get your moulds ready for crafting!
Instructions:
Step 1: Clean and Dry the Mould
Before starting, ensure that your aluminium candle mould is both clean and completely dry. If it’s new or has been stored for a while, use a paper towel to wipe it down and remove any dust or residue.
Step 2: Assemble the Mould
Insert the Tubes: Begin by placing the 4 tubes into the 4 inserts of the base. This is the foundation for shaping your candle.
Support Square: Place the support square over the top of the four tubes and gently push down until secure. This ensures the stability of the tubes while making the candles.
Prepare the Wick Pins: There are two wick pins per wick pin holder. Take the wick pins and thread them through the wick pin holders.
Place the Wick Pins: Insert each wick pin into the tubes, ensuring that the bottom of the pin is aligned with the small holes in the centre of the base. To do this, gently loosen the tubes from the base until you can see the bottom of the wick pins.
Secure the Wick Pins: Carefully move the bottom of the wick pin so it fits into the small holes in the base. It’s crucial that the wick pin is securely positioned here to avoid any skewed tunnels or holes in your candle, which can affect burning and cause drips.
Step 3: Finalize Assembly
Reassemble the Tubes: Once the wick pins are securely in place, gently replace the tubes into the inserts of the base. Be careful not to displace the wick pins while doing this.
Secure the Wick Pin Holders: Ensure that the wick pin holders are firmly in place on top of the mould.
Final Check: Verify that everything is aligned correctly and that the wick pins are stable. This setup is essential for ensuring that your candle burns evenly and performs well.
